How do I become a member of St. Barnabas?

Inquiry Nights are for both the unbaptized and those who are baptized but uncatechized (i.e. never received the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist). Their purpose is to answer questions about the Catholic Church in anticipation of becoming Catholic or completing the sacraments of initiation through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. When are Baptisms?

Baptisms are celebrated on the first and third Sundays of each month at 1:00 PM.  Pre-Jordan class for parents (Godparents welcome) are held every second Tuesday for September until June in St. Barnabas Rectory basement at 7:30 PM.  In anticipation of a summer Baptism you MUST attend the June class.  Call the Rectory (215-726-1119) to arrange the Sunday of your choice.

A six month notice is required -- no exceptions!!

What about Sacraments for the sick?

The priests of St. Barnabas and the Eucharistic Ministers will bring sacraments to those parishioners who are housebound due to illness or old age.  Please call St. Barnabas Rectory, 215-726-1119, to arrange a visit. Or send us a e-mail. Visitations@stbarnabascc.com

What is the proper Church Etiquette?

Priest should be the last in, first out of the Church. Also remember to be respectful of those praying!
