CATHOLIC YOUTH ORGANIZATION - TEEN AGE
MISSION STATEMENT

We, the members of the St. Barnabas Teenage C.Y.O. promise to represent St. Barnabas Parish as responsible Catholic Youth, and to aid and serve St. Barnabas Parish. We wish to support this promise by:

	Providing members with opportunities to grow as Christians through personal involvement in service projects geared to benefit our community;
	Teaching members how to live their faith in today's society;
	Helping members understand their responsibilities to themselves and others;
	Creating prayer-centered opportunities for members and to give support and strength to each other;
	Giving joyful witness at liturgies, prayer services and varied activities;
	Promoting spiritual catechetical, service, cultural and social activities that support our identity as Catholic Christians.

We pray to our heavenly Father, through the intercession of our Mother, Mary and our patron, St. Barnabas, to help us implement and achieve our promise.
